The Boston Globe did an excellent story on this commercial in the last year or two, talking about Anthony all grown up and what the neighborhood is like today. I don’t know if this commercial had anything to do with it, but every Wednesday was pasta for dinner in my Italian house. We didn’t use Prince, though - always Ronzoni.
Hearing the mother in this commercial also reminds me of my parents, who would yell out the back door to my brother, also named Anthony.
