Really liked his work. And whenever I heard his name, I’d think of the “Wiggy” nickname which Raissman always used for him.
Died two days before his 69th birthday. One of those guys who deservedly got the big boy job after working some crazy gigs, like NHL on USA and Classic Sports Network.
I remember him doing pit reporting for the Indianapolis 500 in the mid-1980s before he really made his mark with the Olympics coverage.
Had no idea he had cemented a spot with MSG all those years once he left the networks behind.
