Recording Whatsapp calls for Podcast

I have a number of people I would like to interview for a Podcast I run and they are all overseas.

Consequently I want to conduct the interviews via WhatsApp to keep costs down and wondered if anyone knows of a good app or any way of recording WhatsApp voice calls?

Does anyone already do this and have a tried and trusted method?

I have enjoyed decent results with the TapeACall app. You have to pay for the pro version with more memory but it’s not very expensive.

Have not used with whatsapp specifically but I have used it to record calls for podcasts.

TapeACall only works by taping your phone call. He's trying to phone overseas. That would not be cheap.

That said, I've been able to use TapeACall along with Skype which allows me to call the TapeACall number, plus call long distance for way cheaper than my normal cell provider would charge. I especially like using this setup on my PC.

You could try screen recording (make sure your mic is also on) while on the WhatsApp call, then email the resulting file to yourself and use any number of free online converters to turn it into an audio-only file.
