Since we're talking about relieving ourselves ...

I took a crap in four countries, three continents and two islands in just over 24 hours.

I've been propositioned by the classiest girl in San Antonio.

Although I'm a rabid defender of the South, I realize we have serious problems.

My favorite places are:
1.) My recliner
2.) The dirt road where I grew up
3.) Texas Hill Country
4.) Walking to the aircraft to preflight
5.) Dive bars/dive barbecue joints

Owning No. 5 is my dream job.

i'd offer to go partners with you on No. 5, but you'd just make fun of my brisket.

Anyone makes fun of your brisket and I'll kick their ass.

Bring it, lono.

Brisket sucks. :D

It's clear you're going to have to sit down with Petty and eat. Unless you're a Vegan, your opinion would be very different.

I've only had one GOOD brisket in my life, and that includes several extended trips to central Texas. I wouldn't consider myself a barbecue expert, by any means, but I'm much more familiar with it than the average Joe (not that I'm calling you or Petty "average BBQ Joe's"). I just find it less tender, juicy and flavorful than pork.

When done right, brisket is decent. But 99 percent of the time, it's not done right.

He is, you know.
99 percent of the time, brisket tastes like cardboard.

three_bags_full is right.

Pork is supreme in the barbecue game. Actually, pork is supreme in the great game of meats.

I fall on this side of the argument.
I've had very good brisket, but the pork is always better.

As a 10-year-old, I walked off second base with two out in the last inning of a 5-4 game, thinking there were three out. I was tagged smack on the pitching rubber.

My family always had cats while I was growing up. I have learned since that I am allergic to cats.

The first pet-first street game gives my kids porn names of Thumper Springbranch and Shem Dockside.

Ha! Same here!

I grew up with sometimes as many as 20 cats when they all had kittens. Never a problem.

My daughter brings one home last year and every time I even look at it I get all blown up.

I never spent time around cats until I met Mrs. OOP. I had always been allergic to dogs, but not cats, so when we got married, we got a kitten.

A year later, we got a second cat. That's when I started to notice I felt like crap. Sure enough, I was allergic to cats, too. It just didn't show up until I was exposed to them more.

We tried everything. Cleaning the house more. Air purifier. Stopped letting them sleep in our bed. Made sure I washed my hands every time I touched one of them. Let the wife clean the litter box (I liked that part).

Eventually, we had to find them a new home, though the allergies were only part of the reason. I felt better, yet I felt like crap. Sometimes I still miss the little hairballs.

And those damned felines see us coming and rub right up against us, too.
