Help me, editors. In a rah-rah missive to the staff, our publisher used the term "pretty damn good." This pisses me off, since I've always believed the term should be "pretty damned good." I never see it written the correct way--my way. Am I in fact correct?

Merriam-Webster lists "damn" as an adjective meaning "beyond doubt or question."

Damned would be a valid slang variation.
