Portland meat processing plant goes (soylent) green

From the horrible and ironic ways to die department, an Oregon man was killed last week when he fell into a giant blender at a meat processing plant :o

Clackamas County sheriff's deputies and Clackamas Fire District 1 paramedics were called around 11:45 p.m. Friday, after Avalos-Chanon was found entangled in a blender, which regulates the fat content of ground meat. The following day, firefighters returned to help dismantle the machinery and extricate Avalos-Chanon's body.
Dr. Cliff Young, a deputy state medical examiner, said Avalos-Chanon died from "blunt-force injuries and chopping wounds."

Looks like hot dogs in Oregon really are made of lips and assholes.
And feet, and legs, and liver, and kidney, and ...

They ****ing left him there overnight?

I'm guessing they had to take it apart to pull him out, which probably took some time.

Just going out on a limb here, once he went in, all the meat in that batch was done regardless of how long they left him in there. They probably needed someone who knew how to take the machine apart, I'm guessing it was a pretty sizeable machine.
