Who plays Dalton?

Who cares about Dalton? Who plays Jeff Healey? Blind, white, mediocre blues singers don't grow on trees.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change.
They should do some stunt casting and have Kevin Tighe play Brad Wesley.

I can argue that a Red Dawn in a post 9/11 world might make some sense. But what exactly has changed since the first Road House? What new "spin" could you put on it?
Now what I'd like to see is the new Dalton walk into a chain bar - like Coyote Ugly - and transform it into a real bar.
"No Dancing on the bar! You gotta go!"
"Those t-shirts? They gotta go!"
"Those uniforms? They gotta go!"
"That mascot? He gotta go!"
"Those boat drinks? They're history pal!"
"Those chicken wings? Out the door!"
"That crap your calling country music? With the puka shells, the backwards cap and your bros? If the singer isn't named George, Willie or Johnny, it don't get played."

I hope he starts at the one in Nashville, too. ****, I'd come work for him.

First Red Dawn, now this. If Hollywood remakes The Outlaw Josey Wales, I'm moving to an off the grid cabin so I can write my 50,000-word manifesto.

They did True Grit.

True Grit, while a beloved movie, isn't in my pantheon of movies I'd watch any and every time I came across them. Red Dawn, Roadhouse, Josey Wales are.

That's your fault. True Grit is better than those three

It's not a matter of being better. Sheesh, I can go line for line on True Grit (and most of Sons of Katie Elder too). But when I'm flipping around, if Josey Wales is on one channel and True Grit is on the other, I'll spend most of my time with Eastwood.
