Part of me wants this monster to suffer for the rest of his life...to be violated in every way possible and to live the rest of his miserable life in constant agony. Another part of me hopes he repents. I would wager on the former happening well before the latter.

Doesn't happen too often, but like I said, I'd imagine they'd offer him a life in prison deal if he agrees to drop all appeals. Of course, by the time he went through the appeal system for a death sentence, he would probably be dead anyway.
