Thanks BYH. What I love about Corgis is that they're smart, sturdy, hearty dogs without being tall enough to steal food off the kitchen counter! Play ball, tug-of-war, fetch and wrestle with 'em and you're not afraid of hurting Corgis.

PBR can probably attest.

And Caleb even had ACL surgery.

Here's Soda Pup, who I mentioned how he got his name on the letters thread. Taken sometime before 2004 with a hat my brother put on him.

And here's the dearly departed Buddy, who I picked out at the pound from a pup, and who fell asleep in my lap on the way home, hence why he got his name. He became my buddy on that car ride home. He passed in October of 2006.

Moving into a new house at the end of the year, and looking forward to ending a 10-year dogless period.
I had always had a dog. Even had a dog with me in college.
Anyway, when we get the new house in the foothills with lots of room for exercise, my plan is to get one of these:

Man, me and Monster have a blast playing around. I get worried about him jumping off my bed because of his back, but other than that, he loves to rough-house and I don't really worry about hurting him. I can tell he's going to be one of those dogs, that no matter how old he gets, he's going to always be a puppy at heart. He doesn't over-eat ... chews on stuff quite a bit, but he's amazing.

These are my cats. They may look sweet and innocent but they are crazy as hell. We got Sammy, the Siamese, from one of GB's former co-workers when he was a kitten. Needless to say, he was rather lonely so we got him a friend.

Molly was adopted from the local chapter of the SPCA. Her former owner had too many cats so she was surrendered. According to GB, she is Captain Paranoid. She is really nervous. It's probably because Sammy beats her up all the time.

oh my god. we had many a 120-pound dog growing up, but one day my father brought home one of those. he grew to be 45 pounds (maybe). toughest, meanest ****ing dog ever, ever to walk into a petty home.

She's as pretty as a sweet little flower, it happens to be my second favorite flower, it's cute like her and I affectionately call her Miss. Daisy.
