The Newburyport Daily News is seeking an aggressive reporter to fill its part-time sports writing position. Candidates will work directly with and receive assignments from the sports editor. Duties include game coverage, writing preview and feature stories, taking scores by phone for sports roundups, helping with sports briefs and schedules, and more. This is a 25-hour per week job, and weekends are a must.
