I hate to start rumours but this is from a very reliable source.Callahan and at least 3 asst.coaches gone.Charlie McBride asked to take over as HC. http://www.bighuskerfan.com/phpBB2/index.php

It's unlikely and Osborne confirmed it yesterday that no changes will be made, but I would not be suprised if this is the route they could go at the end of the season, should Osborne decide that it's time to part ways with Callahan.

My question, though, is with McBride. Does he want to return to the program and run it? IIRC, McBride retired during Solich's tenure as coach. It's a stretch, but an outside idea is to bring back Barney Cotton, who was their OC and O-line coach before joining McCarney at ISU. Cotton is currently coaching his kid at Ames High after Mac was let go last November.

Pellini and Gill are going to get serious looks. I wouldn't go near Houston Nutt.
