Probably should go on the youtube thread (and might already be there. Looked, didn't see it.). But this is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Got no idea who the guy is or even what state this is from.

Try this one:

Less a good run than non existent tackling. But still pretty cool.

Some context (I was at this game):

Earlier that season, little 5-foot-8 Monte Williams broke Georgia's all-time state record for career rushing yards (passing Herschel along the way). Despite his size, he's the best prep RB I've ever seen (although I didn't see Herschel ::)) This was the final run of Monte's career -- 56 yards for a TD, breaking a half-dozen tackles, a facemask, and it clinched a state championship.

This play was near the end of the 2000 Class A state championship game. Monte Williams' team (Commerce) was up by 2 against a team (Buford) that would go on to win three state championships in two different classifications in the next three years. ... The previous week, in the semifinal game at the Georgia Dome, Monte broke off a 50-yard TD run with less than a minute left and his team down by 3 to beat Lincoln County.

This time, there was a minute or so left and his team was up by 2, but he broke three tackles, got facemasked, broke another tackle, did a 360, broke two more tackles, did another 360, juked the safety out of his spikes, and then went 56 yards to seal it for Commerce in the rain. Handed the ball to the ref and that was it. Ballgame, state title, career.

The kid was never recruited by D1 schools because of his size, ended up flunking out of Butler CC in Kansas, but Buford had defensive guys who went to Georgia and Auburn and Vandy. So this wasn't a team of scrubs (bad tackling on this play aside.) ... A year later, Darius Walker (who also attended that game) was a freshman for Buford. He's now at Notre Dame.

Darius (who broke Herschel's state record for touchdowns) had more talent than Monte, and a much, much brighter future. But pound for pound, on the prep level, Monte's still the best rusher I've ever seen.
