@dougferguson405 So what did Adam Scott need to shoot today to get into the lead of your story? A 59? A 49?

I'll let you know if he responds.

can you link the story you're referring to?

Let me guess -- the guy wrote about the biggest story in golf this week (Tiger Woods' return) instead of a first-day leader in a meh golf tournament.

Sorry, I'm with TSP on this one. Gotta put your disdain for Tiger aside - his return from injury IS the biggest story in golf.

Yeah, and it's Adam Scott. It's not like he used to bang Kate Hudson or something. ... Wait ...

Absolutely.

I'm with Hejira... if Adam Scott shot a 68 for a first round lead, it's one thing. A 62?

ESPN, Yahoo, etc. all are leading with Tiger. Seems kind of pointless to pick on Doug Ferguson when everyone is doing it.

Gotta sneak Scott in there higher than the eighth graf since Williams is carrying his bag now.

EDIT: I stand corrected.

ESPN's got Harig there.
Yahoo's lead piece is Wetzel.

I doubt any of the major sites would lead with wire on a story like this.
