I noticed the Minnesota Timberwolves and Houston Rockets recently got new team logos, and it sounds like the Atlanta Hawks will be joining them in a few weeks. Does anyone have insight into how to obtain the official logo files?

All of the leagues seem to have online media portals now, which I assume would have this kind of thing. However, I've struggled to get access to these sites since I don't cover the league in person. When I've tried applying in the past my application seems to disappear into the void.

Thanks in advance.

I'd like to use the official versions vs random ones off Google Images, though.

It might be a low-resolution jpeg image, however.

It would be nice to have easy access to hi-res vector images of logos that don't break down if you size them up.

Click around until you find one. As long as you know what you are looking for, they shouldn't be that hard to find.

Assuming the website administrator knows how to do their job (which at the professional sports level should be the case), the logos shown atop team websites should be a high-enough resolution for whatever the need is (Timberwolves shown as example). You can usually right-click to open image in a new tab or save image as from there. I don't personally love that they are often saved as svgs, but it sounds like that might actually suit your needs.

The NBA used to have a headshot/logo website. You requested access. If they approved you had access to everything. Pretty sure all leagues except the NFL had it, I think the NFL distributed theirs via Getty or AP. It’s been ~20 years since I did agate tho.

Looks like the NFL Media site now has a section with logos, color and B/W, all that jazz.

Not sure how difficult it is to get access to that, but it's an option.
