Not the same, for sure, but still pretty cool. Had an old coworker with one, around 2012, you'd hear that car a minute before seeing it. But then he had a kid and that was the end of the Bullitt.

Can usually hear them before you see them.

When I was in high school, we had a 64 1/2 hardtop that I got to drive once in a while.

In 1998, I bought a green 6-cylinder.

Since 2000, I’ve had a ‘98 Cobra convertible.

The 64 1/2 was the best.

One of my best friends in high school had a 1965 Mustang in its original green. Thing was mint. Then he had it painted navy blue, which I thought was a mistake. Then he sold it and bought a Ford Explorer, which almost seemed sinful. But living in Connecticut and it was more practical in the winter.

I'd buy a couple of the charity cars and donate it back for them to run it again.
I saw that a Toyota dealer spent 2.1 million on the 2020 Supra that was a charity car. Very cool.
