Do you ever stop talking about your sex life?
There's a lot of ground to cover.

PS - Congrats on finishing 18th in that race. That's pretty impressive.
@**** Whitman Have you thought about doing one of these in Colorado?
VIA Ferrata - Telluride Mountain Club
Looking at doing this one for my birthday in Sept.

Good thing you're a safe bet -- to get ban-hammered again!I would love it, but there's no way that Mrs. Whitman would ever go for it. She's, shall we say ... risk-averse.
He didn't make a "This is my last post" post, so he may really be gone.

welcome back
I presume I'll be scaling back, but I had been sitting on the Jon Lester stuff for a few days and had to get it out there, for the benefit of the board. It was a selfless act. After that, it was a short walk over here to this thread and ... well, you know how that tends to go.

Update:
Just booked a hike up a 14er with the Mrs. next Saturday morning.
Which 14er? Tell Mrs. Whitman there is nothing inherently dangerous about this. Climbing a 14er is a badge. I've done four of them. Will do another in August.
My brother-in-law has probably gone up Longs Peak 150-plus times -- a lot of times running. He's a freak but not as much as a good friend of his, who climbed ALL of the 14ers last year in less than 10 days.
Andrew Hamilton shatters speed record climbing Colorado’s 14ers
Get a Camelback and extra water bottles. Sunscreen and Deet. Thick socks and good boots. Start early because you want to be down as the storms roll in. And enjoy the amazing view at the top.
Or go down to Colorado Springs and climb this bad boy:
The Colorado Springs Convention & Visitors Bureau
Are we now allowed to ask what happened to LTL and Docquant?

I think you mentioned a few months ago you were staying in Telluride? Climbing out of Ouray? You're going to the best part of the state scenery-wise. Been going to that part of the state for decades. Never gets old. Happy to share other places to go/hit up while you're there.
I'm sure you've researched, but for others, here's what the climb is like.
