I always like the stories of guys who play for teams that won the World Seies, but during the season, only pitched a couple of innings or just pinch-ran for a few games that year and are never seen again until the next year with a different team.

And then they get surprised at a little pre-game ceremony when the World Series-winning team presents them with ring. A cool moment of kindness.

I nearly caught that ball. Actually had it in my hand and someone swiped it out, knocking it down to the front row. Guy who came up with it threw it back.
