Nah. Probably not.

Gisele Bundchen said on CBS This Morning that Tom Brady has suffered multiple concussions during his NFL career, including one in 2016.

Tom Brady had a concussion last year, Gisele Bundchen says - The Boston Globe

Brady was never in the NFL's concussion protocol during the 2016 season. This isn't so much about the Patriots possibly being caught doing something else that violates league policy as it is yet another opportunity to bring attention to the issue.

From what I read, she didn't say when it happened or if the team even knew about the concussion. It doesn't really matter as the mandated punishments for teams failing to follow the concussion protocols properly are a joke, anyway. The league found that the Dolphins didn't follow them with Matt Moore during the playoff loss to the Steelers and it didn't cost them anything significant.

I just wonder if Brady being involved will finally get more people to take the problem seriously. Sadly, I doubt it.

It will just trigger a new round of Patriot fan wails when the franchise has to troop down to Roger's office to explain why they never reported any.

What people are you talking about to take the problem more seriously?

I think it's pretty obvious Gisele was taking a domestic dispute public. She wants Tom to quit, he doesn't.

Her husband can't throw it and catch it. Looks like he can't block, either.

I don't believe her. To get a concussion, he'd have to take a single hit without immediately jumping up and whining about it, and we all know that **** never happened.

I cannot think of a single play in which he looked like he might have gotten a concussion. She's talking out of her ass.

The fans don't really seem to care.

The league puts on a front of taking it seriously, but there are no real teeth in the rules regarding team enforcement of the concussion protocols.

Honestly, the idea was that it won't happen. The league's approach isn't going to change and the majority of fans won't care, at least not until a player gets killed during a game. Perhaps that sounds overly dramatic, but Merril Hoge claims it nearly happened to him in 1994. Hoge has told the story that the Bears let him come back before he had fully healed from a concussion and another blow to the head sent him to the locker room. His heart did stop beating in the locker room, but the medical staff was able to revive him.

It could have happened in practice, though that seems very unlikely. Or it happened in a game, but it was minor and didn't get much attention. Hell, maybe it happened off the field.

I'm sure he would have just as easily caught her eye if he'd settled down on Long Island to trade municipal bonds.
They've been married quite awhile now, and I wouldn't find it odd if she wanted hubby to have all his marbles in their golden (in every sense) years.

If you tell Brady he is going to win three more Super Bowls but his mind will be gone by the time he's 60, he signs that deal today.
