You've got to be kidding me.

"The Star Spangled Banner's going on right now and I don't celebrate that s***. I'm black."

Just as an aside, in my six years as a sportswriter, Josh Howard was among my favorite guys to talk to. Not terribly interesting, but just a genuine, humble person.

Wow... just... wow

Howard makes Cuban sound like Albert Einstein.

Just because you spend 4 years in college, it doesn't necessarily equate to being smart when you open up your mouth.

The irony is that, IIRC, Wake got beat in the first round to either Navy or Air Force (one of the military schools), after he popped off about the pending invasion of Iraq in '03. He looked like **** in that first round game.

Good player, but not the brightest bulb in the world, despite a Wake Forest education.

Come on, guys. Cut Josh Howard some slack. He went to a really subpar academic institution.

Auburn beat Wake in 2nd round after Howard was quoted in the local paper on the war effort.

Howard is an idiot. Did he really think this wasn't going to get spread all over the internet and picked up by tabloids, ESPN and other news websites. Mark Cuban is probably going to have a ****ing field day with this guy.

We've yet to hear anything from teammates.
