Keep an eye on the local kid - Vaughn Taylor

I'm not sure he has the mental toughness it takes to win a major.

He might not, but it is the 20th anniversary of Augusta's Larry Mize winning it. Or so I've been told.

Touche. But Taylor doesn't have Greg Norman's heart to break.

Can he break Tiger's instead?

Tiger will just buy a new one.

Or his caddie will rip it out of a patron with his massive teeth.

Fixed.

Hey, the Dance Party must go on my friend.

Starting to get away from Tiger.
3-over for the round through seven.
4-over for the tournament, eight shots back.

Tiger's +3 for the day thru 9 and +4 overall.
This sets up the rest of the series very nicely.

Tiger's gone bogey birdie bogey birdie on his last 4 holes. He's just ****ing with everyone's mind.

Times like this I wish those tightassed in the green jackets would loosen the TV restrictions. It's becoming apparent that this course is playing more like a U.S. Open setup rather than the Greater Wlat Open and I'd love to see that. And being that it's Good Friday and a lot of people have the day off, I'm bettingthat I'm not alone.

Isn't it funny how tough guy Steve Williams all of sudden loses his nerve when he's somewhere like Augusta or the British Open? I'd love to see him try and pull some of his garbage at Augusta and watch him get his ass thrown off the grounds. That's one place even Tiger couldn't bail him out.

Part of that is because Augusta keeps such a tight rope on their "patrons." No one is gonna dare take a cell phone or camera on that course, not because of a possible beat down from Steve, but because those folks might never see a Master's badge again.

In fact, you're not allowed to take a cell phone or camera on the course Thurs-Sun. They check patrons as they enter the gates and if found with one of these items, they're confiscated. So, there you have it.

which, by the way, is the way that it should be. They did this at the 84 Lumber Classic too but people still snuck 'em in for the sole purpose of being a dickslap and calling their friends and saying "eyyyyyyahhhhh, guess where I is! I'm standin' about thirty feet from John Daly!"

Zach Johnson just three-jacked from four feet, turning a sure birdie into a bogey... and a few seconds after that, Mickel-teats started knocking it around the woods... yeeech.

Phil shooting over par today but moving up the leaderboard. Strange Masters so far.

Moving up the leaderboard until he hit into the woods, then nailed every tree in the forest trying to hit out of it.

Leaders are at 2-under
