You would think so but no, even in California all the perps are treated as murderers. The difference is that the white kid's parents not only could afford to post five million dollars in bail, they could afford an attorney that could convince a judge to grant bail in a gang murder case.

Which of course you could make a economic case for that treatment rather than privilege; but it is hard to justify that the white kid was released from jail with no restrictions, no ankle bracelet, no home confinement, go back to class, feel free to post social media from the World Series, for reasons other than corruption.

Thankfully, the woke parents at Palos Verdes High quickly organized and got the affluent thug who was endangering their school's safety kicked out, rightfully embarrassing the weak school administrators who get very well paid to know better.
