Make it Work: Project Runway 2008

Korto was robbed no doubt. I thought she had it locked up when Nina said Korto's clothes could fit a wide-range of female figures.

To me it seemed Leann won on her potential.

It's fashion. As usual, what seemed to be the ugliest one to me was considered the winner. Leanne won because what she made was about 50x harder construction wise than anything either of the other two made.

I thought Korto probably should've won. But I didn't understand the green dresses. I mean it was the same damn dress in three different lengths. Congrats! must be crazy hard to pull that off

this season was the worst by far.

Leanne always looked like she just left the dinner party from The Shining.
Jerell looked like an extra from Hook.
Blayne looked like he was tanning with butter alongside Kramer.
Stella was just odd.
Suede was even more odd.
Jerry made that psycho butchers coat thing in the first episode.
It was just a train wreck from day one.

Bad news. All dressed up and nowhere to go:

Typical, isn't it? ... something great gets destroyed.

From everything I've read about this case, Weinstein violated the contract, pure and simple.

Because it was the network's top-rated show, Bravo (NBC Universal) is going to want restitution in an amount so high that Weinstein will never want or be able to pay it. It will be much more economical for him to give Lifetime back its money and deal with-- what will probably by then be new management and executives at NBC Uni.

I see a court ruling and/or settlement in NBC's favor, with the show ultimately back on Bravo.

But.... there's no trial date set.

I think the show will return to the air in 2 years time. People will want to watch again... But the current season will be "the lost season" because the designs and the contestants' stories will be dated.

Somewhere, Tim Gunn is giggling:

"Runway" Star Jailed for Cat-astrophic Assault

One of the most memorable -- and hated -- finalists from "Project Runway" is behind bars right now for allegedly fashioning a weapon out of a living, breathing, meowing cat ... and firing it at her ex-fiance!

Kenley Collins -- the trash-talking, third place loser from P.R. Season 5 -- was arrested in a Brooklyn home early yesterday morning, after the D.A. claims she attacked her sleeping ex-fiance with anything she could get her hands on -- including a cat, a laptop, several apples and finally ... water. It's like a design challenge turned violent!

It's unclear what started the fight, but according to legal papers Kenley told her ex, "You're lucky ... it could've been a lot worse."

Kenley was arrested and charged with six crimes -- including 2nd degree assault, 3rd degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon in the 4th degree.

No word on when Kenley is set to be released from jail.
