Man, everyone complains about Berman on here (myself included), but God, the Football Night in America halftime crew of Bob Costas, Cris Collinsworth, Sterling Sharpe and the Bus is AWFUL.

Sharpe must think the loudest voice (and boldest statement) "wins" - whatever it is he thinks he should win.

At one point tonight, Collinsworth looked embarrassed to be part of this sideshow.

Costas is too good for this. And, as much as it pains me to say it, so is Collinsworth. Peter King looked (and sounded) completely out of place tonight, too.

At least Sterling speaks clearly, unlike his mush-mouthed brother.

Good point. It's just that HE HAS PROBLEMS CONTROLLING THE VOLUME OF HIS VOICE!

Welcome to the state of discourse in the United States. It doesn't matter if you have a valid point, just as long as you can out-shout the other guy.

My main problem with the Sunday night crew is how loud the ****ing set it. It couldn't be more distracting if there were strippers in the background.

Berman's worst critics acknowledge Prime Time worked. He and Jackson did an outstanding highlights show.
TV being TV, NBC looked at Prime Time and said. "Well, if their show worked because of one loud guy, we'll have FIVE loud guys! Clear off another shelf for the Emmys."

WHAT THE **** ARE YOU SAYING??? HUH?!?!?!?
Be careful with the size or the whiny-ass "these nasty curse words are too big and someone 75 feet away in my newsroom might get offended" police will come here and whine like Terry Holland...

Every time Shannon speaks, I'm reminded why I purchased TiVo. Ive gave up on the notion that I can understand him on the first take. When he talks , it sounds like there's something in his mouth blocking his tongue from moving.

All I know is, I suffered permanent hearing loss when I shared an elevator with Berman seven or eight years ago. Probably doesn't end the thread, but it needed to be said.
