Ad Expires: June 16, 2009

Description:
Reporter for major American magazine is seeking a research assistant for a high-profile Obama book project. The ideal candidate will be extremely well-organized, possess a deep interest in Washington politics, and be a dogged researcher. Duties include: reporting, transcribing interviews, administrative tasks, and maintaining the author's schedule. 20 hours/week. $1000/month. 1- year commitment. Must live in Washington, DC.

Send cover letter, resume, and a short critique of Obama's first 100 days in office to [email protected].

It's a "high profile" book project but is gonna pay $250 a week to work around someone else's schedule.

My short critique of Obama's first 100 days: He hasn't made it so that you can live on $1000/month.

That was my first thought, but it is only 20 hours a week. That's some decent money for a part-time job.
