I'm back in Vegas as the AME/Sports. It's a lot warmer here than in Detroit! One of my first duties is finding a new assistant sports editor. I'm looking for a someone who is good at digital but doesn't mind a toe in print; someone who is good with people and working with reporters; and someone who will push the limits and have some fun because I am still kind of a mad scientist in the newsroom. After all, we've got some pretty big events on the horizon, including the A's arrival, a Super Bowl, the CFP title game and, in four months, a Frozen Four. This job is IN PERSON and NOT REMOTE.
