Hi all,

I'm back in Vegas as the AME/Sports. It's a lot warmer here than in Detroit! One of my first duties is finding a new assistant sports editor. I'm looking for a someone who is good at digital but doesn't mind a toe in print; someone who is good with people and working with reporters; and someone who will push the limits and have some fun because I am still kind of a mad scientist in the newsroom. After all, we've got some pretty big events on the horizon, including the A's arrival, a Super Bowl, the CFP title game and, in four months, a Frozen Four. This job is IN PERSON and NOT REMOTE. Interested? Send an email to [email protected].

Congrats Bill!
Sounds like a great gig ... I'd apply if I didn't have to live in Vegas :)

Ugh. I would love this job and move to Vegas tomorrow. But can't give up my good gig with great health insurance to go back into newspaper without knowing what the future holds :(.

I actually applied after seeing this on LinkedIn last week before seeing it here just now. If it's worth sending my resume to you directly, please let me know. Thanks.
