Just saw it. The ten players on the court were ejected. Fight started after Nate Robinson fouled/cheap-shotted J.R. Smith, who had a breakaway. They exchanged words, and Robinson threw a punch. The two then wrestled into the crowd. Both teams ran to the fight, exchanging words. At one point, Carmelo Anthony punched/slapped Mardy Collins in the mouth, then ran away from Jared Jeffries.

What a ***** sport. If you have the balls to throw a punch, be prepared to pay the piper. This is why hockey rules. If a hockey player throws a cheap shot, he has to face a Brian McGrattan/Derek Boogard/Georges Laraque and pay the ****ing piper.

NEW YORK (AP) — Ten players, including NBA scoring leader Carmelo Anthony, were ejected for fighting during a wild brawl near the end of Saturday night’s game between the Denver Nuggets and New York Knicks. ¶
All 10 players on the court at the time were tossed for their involvement in the ugly incident that spread across the court and spilled into the crowd at Madison Square Garden. ¶
Anthony scored 34 points before the melee took place with about 1:15 left in the Nuggets’ 123-100 victory over the Knicks. <cm-bd>¶
The fight started after Knicks reserve Mardy Collins flagrantly fouled Denver’s J.R. Smith. With punches being thrown by several players, the hitting and grabbing continued for several minutes before coaches and security ran onto the court and finally restored order. ¶
Anthony was involved in a fight with the Knicks’ Nate Robinson, who jumped into to jaw at Smith after the foul. Both Smith and Robinson ended up flying into the stands in the NBA’s ugliest scene since the brawl between Pacers players and Detroit fans in 2004.¶
With each team forced to put five new players on the floor, Denver finished up the win and ended a two-game losing streak. Marcus Camby had 24 points and nine rebounds, and Andre Miller added 12 points and 10 assists for the Nuggets. ¶

Like a little *****. He back-pedaled, while having Marcus Camby hold Jeffries off. Someone on the Nuggets--Najera maybe?--tackled Jeffries before he could get to Anthony.

What a league.

AP's NBA writing sucks. This one is better than some, but there's no reason to say someone "flagrantly fouled" someone else. Saying Collins fouled Smith flagrantly is no longer and much more grammatical.

Oh, and I've seen all kinds of hockey players skating backward after throwing a few jabs. Not defending the NBA here, but let's remember the rule:

Hockey sucks.

Gotta be Larry Brown's fault, eh Starman?

Well, LB is a Coach Emeritus of both teams. You'd think if anything, Isiah would teach them to "Fight The Right Way." ;D ;D

This thread will not end well.

Hockey sucks.

1) Collins didn't foul Smith. Nate Robinson did.

2) Yeah, there have been cheap shots in hockey and there was no retaliation. But for the most part, if a hockey player takes a cheapshot, he eventually pays the piper.

3) No one gives a **** whether or not you like hockey. So take your opinion about hockey and blow it out your ass, one trick pony.

What a bush or *****-assleague.
Ah yes, that sounds just about correct about The League.

(1) The AP story says it was Collins. I guess I'll wait for the highlight to find out who's right.

(2) Hockey sucks.

(3) Hockey sucks.

What a bushor*****-assleague.
Sounds better?

Nope. What a league says it all. Only in the NBA can a guy throw a punch, then run away as he's being challenged. No need for "bush" or "*****-ass."

Uh, hockeybeat? I've seen the clip six times. Mardy Collins committed the foul.

It was definitely Collins who fouled Smith flagrantly, but I don't think it was hard enough to have a brawl over.
