So was at the mall today on a very rare Saturday off. The Jordans from when I was in fourth grade came were being sold at the shoe store. I think Jordan III or something. The ones before the nets, but with the air pocket.

I just couldn't resist buying them.

I bought a new pair of Chucks, but I don't think shoe nostalgia could drive me to a new pair of Jordans.

Reebok pumps, maybe....

;)

Never understood the appeal of Jordans myself. Shoes are shoes.

My next pair of shoes is going to be Starbury. $14.98 at your local Steve and Barry's.

TKO, if you don't mind me asking--how much were they? (Gimme a ballpark figure if you want to...) I was going to look into getting a pair myself.

I bought a pair of Chucks a few years ago and was shocked (and maybe I shouldn't have been) at how shoddy the workmanship was.

Do journalists really make enough money to buy high-tech sneakers anymore? None that I know could afford it...

Do they still make Roos?

If they do, I would buy them so I can stash my turnpike toll money in them. :D

Interesting, I just learned today that those shoes killed more black kids than crack.
