I’d recently started using Amazon again; yes, I know my soft boycott didn’t make a damn difference. But it’s back to shopping elsewhere.

It really is an interesting dynamic about newspapers, news orgs in general. Never once did I think I was working for "the boss" or owner when I worked in newspapers. It was always for the readers, the community. That was the audience you needed to satisfy.
