I was covering a suburban school board retreat in a posh Texas resort. Everyone retired to the bar at the end of the day. In walks Huey Lewis and the News, who get up to do a couple of songs and that version of the Anthem (this was a couple of days before the All-Star game).

I had to tell the school board members who it was, and why their kids would probably care. (Even though I'm not a fan at all.) They were pretty baffled about why they had to stand up in the middle of the bar all of a sudden because the band had decided to do the Star-Spangled Banner.
