iTunes to Tivo?

Okay all you tech gurus. I'm interested in buying some tv shows off iTunes... I've bought old Grey's before, and it worked great.

Question: Is there a way to send the shows to my Tivo?

I don't know the answer to that, but I do know this: You can put TV shows on your iPod and watch them on your television. Apple makes a cable to do it, but it's way too expensive; luckily, there's a work-around some tech geeks figured out (not me). Here's how.
