So I don't have to follow three or four different threads, please post here any problems, issues or requests you might have with our upgraded software. Please limit the posts on this thread to only these issues. General discussion can take place elsewhere. Thanks.

Not to sound like a broken record, but is there any way to get the "Hello" line at the top moved down into the text box, run at the same size as everything else in there? Don't mean to pick nits, but it's very attention-grabbing up there.

Is it just me, or is the thing telling you how many PMs you have gone?

Are we still limited to 200 pms? I can't tell how many old I have, but I know how many new I have.

It no longer gives you the total number of PM's. However, when you have a new PM it will appear at the top next to "My Messages" in parenthesis. For example: My Messages (2)

We were never limited to 200 PM's. However I ask that you please try to keep your PM area neat and clean. It helps preserve hard drive space. Thanks.

There are some portions of the "messages" screen where the links are in white text (page numbers, change information links, that kind of stuff) and it's hard to see. Can it be in a darker color? Thanks!

The new site is rad. Many thanks to you and Douglas.

Yeah, that's pretty much all I have to say. The extra work you've done is appreciated.

No complaints. Just wanted to say it looks great!

Is there a way one could send someone else a giant pull-down window saying "You suck!"?

I don't know if you really want us to have the answer to that, Dye. :)

And I don't mean to not thank you guys. I think it looks awesome. I'm just worried about my anonymity. Because the background on my computer being Brook Jacoby doesn't do that on its own. :)

Dear DyePack,

Next question.

Can you rig it so if someone uses the word "gots" in their post, then that post is automatically deleted?

Does it bother anyone that someone can change handles, but leave no trace that they are someone else?

I know Douglas addressed this previously, but the old software allowed to change names, but the original name stayed on the profile. The new system seems to allow a lot of room for trouble....I like knowing who I'm talking to before I respond to a post or PM.

The only solution for this is for me to turn off the ability for users to change their display names, which I think might be a good idea.

More on the PMs ...

The old system sent an e-mail to the address that you have registered here to let you know about new PMs, while this one does not seem to do that. (Even though the check-box option is still there, and mine is checked to do that.)

Can that be fixed? Or are they phasing that function out?

I still receive PM notifications. Is it possible that given our recent spam attack that your e-mail provider now thinks [email protected] is spamming you? Check your spam folder.

Tremendous idea.

Also...did I miss this, or can you tell us any of the changes we might not see? ie, what are the changes affecting new accounts--how long until a new member can post or PM, are your controls the same as before, etc...?
