None of the fill-ins thus far have been remotely entertaining. It is downright putrid morning radio. It is almost as though they can't settle on a format.

They have Charles providing news. They have Carlin doing sports. In between they have a host talking about something and it is as though they just can't decide what they should talk about.

What they should do is just have George Carlin do a morning sports talk show and leave it at that. Get rid of the news portion.

No, what they need to do is leverage the MSNBC franchise by giving KO a two-hour broadcast taped the night before after his TV show.

Then you haven't listened recently. I don't have any interest in him interviewing porn stars or that kind of stuff, even though he does it a lot... The show banter between the regulars is the best ever and he may be the best interviewer ever when talking to celebrities.

His show hit a big-time rut there for several years after he got divorced and after Jackie left, and before he hopped to Sirius.

The best part of that show is when they bust on each other. The incident this morning involving Sal the Stockbroker and Richard Christy was mindblowing.
