'Gratz, BBAM, and best wishes to both of you!

Congrats BBAM!!!

My piece of advice is not invite so many people that you don't get a chance to talk to everyone in attendance.

I have been to two 500+ people weddings and the bride in each wedding was a childhood friend. Both times, I did not get to even say hi, congrats, nice to see ya, your dress is too tight, you look like a fish when you kiss -- nothing. I left both weddings feeling like it didn't matter if I had attended or not.

Just seems so impersonal to have that many folks and not have enough time to at least say hi to your guests.

dude, even if she says she wants your input, watch out. Nothing but danger ahead.

We're well below that number.

Negative. She's not like that. I've been with girls like that, this girl is definitely not like that.

Think how many presents the couple received, though.

Give help on cake flavor......give broad suggestions on how much/ what kind of decorations she wants for the reception.. help pick food .....get the tux she wants.....smile a lot. What she wants, is already in her head.

In that case, I guess you've got 600 on your invite list, eh Angola? ;)

Congrats!

But wedding planning should have been Dante's seventh circle of hell. Good luck.

Ice cream cake, BBAM. Ice cream cake or no wedding. Take a stance.

I'm shocked that you only have 25,000 posts on this site.

Are you saying that's why I'm lonely?

Yes!

Think about it: A five-tier ice cream cake with a cool design -- maybe G.I. Joe and Barbie or, better yet, Ariel, at the altar -- that's almost to pretty to eat; of course, you do eat it because, come on, it's ice cream cake, and who could let ice cream cake just sit?

Plus the throwing the cake in the face becomes so much better. You'll have to use spoons, so it becomes more about accuracy than tradition.
