Freddy's and Slim Chickens are my go-to reasonably priced FF places. Oh, and Schlotzsky's. And Chicken Salad Chick. And Teriyaki Madness. Regular restaurants generally double the price of my FF meals.

Schlotzky's original is epic, provided they don't let any of those nasty ass olives anywhere near it ...

It could be. Blue Bell Ice Cream had to completely shut down in 2015 because of a listeria outbreak and it took years for them to bounce back.

Very good quality, too. Ingredients feel fresh, and I've never gotten that weighed-down feeling that I often get from FF places.

They also sell bulk containers of their different varieties of chicken salad, so great fast meal prep options for home.

LOL. I remember the first Schlotzky I ever had. 1980 or so in Houston. It was like two in the afternoon and I was really hungry and I tried them. I ordered a large original, and the guy on the counter said "They're really big, are you sure you're that hungry?" I assured him that I was.

That thing was an absolute honker, whupped my ass. I took about a third of it home.

They have (had?) a limited-time offer that was called Albuquerque Turkey, basically a turkey club with avocado, pepper jack cheese and a "southwest sauce"

Glad it was an LTO, or else I'd be getting that about 5 times a week.

That and the Freddy's double cheeseburger California style are about the only FF options that I have zero will power over.

Well, you know, the chicken salad. ;) We have one near me in the Houston burbs. It's a pretty solid option for a chicken salad sandwich, but it's two doors down from a Fadi's, which my wife likes a lot more between the plentiful sides and the pita.

I love when someone says "Ohh, that's too much" or "That's too big for you."

Only twice, offhand, can I remember the order being too much. I'm sure there have been other times I can't remember.

One was in Chicago when a friend and I asked about a medium deep-dish pizza, which basically is a casserole. "Too big, both of you can't finish it." We got the small and didn't finish it. That's a lot of casserole.

The other was in New Orleans when I ordered half a muffuletta. Nay, nay, said the server, so I got a quarter. Ate it but yes, the half would've been too much. To be fair, though, we also had gumbo and crab claws. Half a full still would be a lot.

I'm there every Tuesday (CSC, not Fadi's). I have Fadi's on my probation list, 10-year penalty, for being rude at the Westheimer location.

I was quietly eating my dinner and some random dude came up and told me to move, I was at "his" table. I politely declined and the manager came over and told me to move. At that point I said a few words that could be considered unkind and told him he would have to physically drag me away from that table. BTW, there were about 10 other quite empty tables around me.

Not quite as bad as the maniac who used to own Cafe Brasil, but still...

Movement ... heh, heh, I see what you did there!

One summer when I was home from college and worked night crew at the grocery store, I stopped by White Castle a couple times a week when my shift ended, because where else could you get hamburgers at 7 a.m.?

I guess 21-year-old me could handle a bag of sliders early in the morning and somehow sleep through some of the midday.
