So it was 103 here today. It's 96 right now, heat index of 103.

High tomorrow of 103. Heat index of 115.

Who else out there is dying?

I walked my dog for two minutes today and don't think I've stopped sweating since. Well, at least I'm not a dog.

I was playing soccer with my buddies today and it was around 98. Probably one of the dumbest things I've ever done.......oh yeah, the game ended in a tie.All that sweat, and the game ended in a tie >:( .

Hey, you could lick yourself if you were.

Good point.

I was stupid enough to go for a 6-mile run at 2 p.m., when it was about 100, and I was still sweating three hours later when I went into the office for a little while. I was running on some mostly-shaded trails, but it didn't matter.

I now nominate myself for Idiot of the Week, though it won't be much cooler at midnight.

Sign on.

I'm sweating in my air-conditioned house typing. I think I would melt completely if I ran 6 miles in this heat. Then again, I'd probably die around mile 4.

Brutal here in northern New Hampshire. Just got back from the gym (4.5 mile run) and the bozos didn't have the common sense to turn on the AC. Interestingly, just  ate a plate of spinach and it cooled me down a bit. I feel like Popeye.

It's so hot here that I live four blocks from a grocery store that has a chilled room just for beer. All kinds of good stuff. And I'm contemplating not going and buying any just so I don't have to walk the 50 feet to my car from my building.

Why don't you just hang out in the beer room?

I've tried that. But it gets really freaking cold after a while, and they get angry if you just sit in the corner, drink Blue Moon and throw **** at anyone else who comes in.

I just pictured this. And it made me laugh.

Remember that line in 'Margaritaville' where he steps on a pop top?

Well, let's just say there was an incident with a shopper, flip flops, one of my Blue Moon tops and a lawsuit.

If I go to the store, I'll have to wear a hat and sunglasses. And pay in cash.

Damn. Liquor stores, Brook Jacoby's neighborhood. Where will you be banned from next?
