The problem? The show is done live. They go to two or three commercials and come back and he does do it again ... live.</a>

A do-over? Clearly he forgot that there are no do-overs on live radio, where he belongs.

I bet this wasn't live. Just a guess..there was more than one take on the tape and somebody edited in the bad take. I've seen it done before, usually not on the ESPN level.

I agree. Partly because I don't see a "Live" logo on the screen. Isn't that usually there if it's live? And is Rome is Burning really shot live?

You push on and reshoot your intro and then tack it on at the beginning of the show.

Hell, I've heard Alex Trebek botches questions and they just reshoot or rerecord the questions after taping.

it might be live since his radio show ends at 3 eastern..and his show airs at 430 eastern..i know he does the tv show after the radio..what i dont know is how much after..but i would guess its live, although i dont know if its.....

It was shown during the original ESPN broadcast on the East Coast. I know because, for some reason I still can't quite fathom, I was watching it. Saw it, chuckled, moved on.
