Twenty-one year old leader of statewide prep sports coverage in South Carolina, “The High School Sports Reportâ€, and seeking journalism degree applicant with page design experience in QuarkExpress. Applicant should document a passion for prep sports, a strong work ethic, a good driving record, and be willing to travel as we cover 46 counties and over 200 high schools in a rabid sports crazy state. We print only 20-22 times a year making daily and weekly deadlines a thing of the past in the life of the successful applicant. We print only once a month in the summer thus giving you ample time to enjoy the white sand beaches located 16 miles a way in Charleston, S.C. You will supervise writers and stringers and work closely with the Publisher in helping the publication expand to other states. Our 20-22 deadlines a year are long and intense as we paginate 88 pages to our printer. Starting salary is between $35-K and $40K and includes a two week paid vacation a year.
