Talk about throwing a career away. Doyle Wolverton, girls basketball coach at Leake Academy (Miss.), resigned after he bit one of his players during a timeout.
Wolverton is second in the nation all-time in career victories and has won a boatload of state championships in the Mississippi private school ranks. He's been coaching since 1975 and has an all-time record of 1,245-181.
