Help with a stereo

So I bought a '64 Chevelle a few months back to tinker with. It still has the AM radio in it.

If you guys were going to modernize the sound system, what would you do, including speakers?

there's mrs. petty (female), the heartbreakers (both female) and boots (yeah, laugh ****ers; the youngest heartbreaker named her) the cat (female).

the garage, pink floyd on the "home" stereo and a coupla beers even **** up in a hurry.
