Help me pick an MLS team

So I'm so sick of the NFL and its collection of drug-using, dog-killing thugs I've decided to support MLS.
I actually think that the MLS could come up with a helluva marketing campaign to exploit the general blahness some feel about the coming NFL season, but that's for another day.
But I need an MLS team to support. Lots of love for Beckham right now, but I need to reach deeper.
I don't live in a city with an MLS franchise, even though a popular rumor is that MLS will play an exhibition game here next season.
So without having any geographic ties, I feel free to pick any franchise.
And it can be for any reason. Cool unis, popular players, kickass team (squad?) or just because.
Anyway, feel free to fire up suggestions.

The Kansas City Wizards are cool. C'mon, they used to be called the Wiz, and nobody beats the Wiz.

Columbus Crew ... if for no other reason than the really stupid name.

That, and when they first started, they had 3 starters from my alma mater's team, so I used to watch them.

I haven't watched an MLS game in 10 years, though, so I probably really can't help you.

Based on my experience, I'd consider the Red Bulls.

Yeah, the name is cheesy and the uniforms aren't the greatest (if going by uniform, it's D.C. United in a runaway). But the stadium experience is quite nice, especially with the right guides.

Still pretty close, SC. The black-on-black is still the sharpest look in the league. Thank goodness the Galaxy have updated with the navy away kits. A big improvement.

The team is consistantly at the top of their division, they play in one hell of a stadium at Gillette and they have one of the best groups of tailgating fools around in the Midnight Riders and Rev Army.

If Kraft gets his way there could be a new home for the Revs in Somerville.
