Heisman Final Four announced

(AP)NEW YORK -- Tim Tebow, Colt Brennan, Chase Daniel and Darren McFadden are all headed to New York for the Heisman Trophy presentation on Saturday.

Organizers settled on four finalists for the award, which will be presented in a ceremony at the Nokia Theatre in Times Square (ESPN, 8 p.m. ET).

Only four will go, eh? Good for Brennan to get an invite. It's going to be a long flight to the east coast.

ESPN is carrying it? Expect a 60 minute preview show with 55 minutes devoted to Tim Tebow, the WWL's unabashed personal choice.

Tiebow really deserves it, regardless of what grade he is in.

That said, here's hoping Chase Daniel carries his talent into next year. With nearly every major name returning, the Tigers should be pretty tough (even if they're only voted like 25th in next year's preseason poll, with USC, UCLA, Notre Dame and Nebraska all voted ahead of them).

They invited Brennan because the late ballots had a lot of split votes for Tebow and Hawaii. Actually, nobody wrote the word Hawaii, but for some reason a lot of people produced maps of the state, and they went from there.

Chase Temple and Chase Rucker are seniors. So is wideout Chase Franklin.

Sure, Chase Maclin will be back, Chase Coffman likely will be.

But let's not act like they're returning the same offense. They're losing quite a few impact guys.

Losing Chase Spieker and Chase Luellen off the O-line will hurt, too.

I heard they were trying to get Chase Temple an extra year on a medical redshirt. And they'll have Chase Jackson and Chase Washington in the backfield, and hopefully Chase Alexander will recover from his torn ACL and Chase Saunders will have a big year next year.

I think the Fightin' Chases will be OK.
