Living players not on the list, better than Pete Rose:

1- Berra
2- Schmidt
3- Brett
4- Griffey
5- Clemens
6- Johnson
7- Maddux
8- Thomas
9- Bagwell
10 - Henderson
11- Rivera
12 - Alomar
13 - Chipper
14 - Pedro
15 - Morgan
15 - Bench
16 - Seaver
17 - Palmer
18 - Reggie
19 - Carlton
20 - Ripken

I bet I could come up with 10 more.
If thats your list, then McCovey, Stargell, Manny Ramirez are better than Rose. And if McCovey, Stargell, Perez and Billy Williams are HOFers and they are, then so should Bagwell, Thome, Delgado and McGriff.

I happily grant you McCovey, Stargell, Manny & Bagwell. Not sure about the others. Big drop-off to the likes of McGriff & Delgado.
Look at Delgado's slash line compared to Stargell and McCovey. .282 .360 .529 .889 v .280 .383 .546 .929. v .270 .374 .515 .889

without looking it up, which set belongs to which player?

Fair enough. Never saw Stargell or McCovey & didn't study the numbers, which is mostly why I didn't include them. The ones I would argue for are Bagwell at the top and McGriff at the bottom, with Rose probably somewhere in between. I agree that Reggie is overrated, but probably still better than Rose.

The object of the game hasn't changed just because we've gotten better at figuring out how to get there, and evaluating

Hate to see him drop out of consideration on these lists but, sadly, Pops Stargell has been gone more than a dozen years.

Aaron and Mays, for two.

I was working off of the original list of 5 which included rose.

I don't much care if I miss the biting sarcasm in this one. Why would Rollins be on the list, and why would nine people make a travesty of this by casting votes for him?

Should male porn actors who use Viagra be ineligible for the Adult Cinema Hall of Fame?

Viagra, yes. Any other drug I'm not sure. If you barred the door to any adult film actor or actress who used coke, I'm not sure anyone would be eligible.

Viagra would be like athletes taking painkillers to get through a performance, though, right? Just a tool of the job, so to speak? Plus there has to be some leniency. If female porn stars can make a career off of their implants -- and use them in some of their best work -- then the men should be able to use Viagra.
Now if they take Extenze or one of the other "enhancement" products that are shilled on late night infomercials, drum them out of the business.

****, if they tested reality show contestants for HGH, they'd have to shut them all down.
