Second, I don't exactly know what the procedure in question is, but I would have a very hard time believing that anyone, much less the premier, would have to wait two years for it to be done. This is simply a case of a person who can afford it (his nickname is "Danny Millions") choosing to pay for a procedure to be done immediately in a cash-for-care facility that just happens to be in the United States. There is nothing to see here if you're looking at this as an indictment of health care in Canada. (Although I am well aware the right-wing blogosphere south of the border has, predictably, been whipped into a frenzy by this news.)
