Nothing from the cops yet, but a TV station in Orlando reported it was a domestic violence beef in Apopka. The last one, of course, with the ex-wife turned out to be something less than what was initially reported. He's in jail now, and the world awaits the booking officer's report.

I can't find a way to post the pic, but based on the link it doesn't look like the year has been kind to his fitness plan.

Zimmerman, who was acquitted earlier this year of murdering teenager Trayvon Martin, was arrested after the incident at the home of Samantha Schiebe, Lemma said. He also was charged with two misdemeanors -- domestic violence battery and criminal mischief -- in connection with the same incident, Lemma said.

George Zimmerman was accused in court Tuesday of choking his girlfriend and threatening suicide before this week’s domestic disturbance that landed him in jail on a felony assault charge.

A prosecutor said the girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe, did not report the earlier confrontation but later told authorities that Zimmerman told her he had “nothing to lose.”

“She is in fear for her safety,” the prosecutor said.

Not touting the integrity of the prosecutor, or lacjk thereof, but NO prosecutor is ever going to be the one that let George Zimmerman walk, again. Like the OJ prosecutors, you were handed a gift and you took a dump in the box. As much a douche/criminal as this guy may be, he'll never get a fair trial ever.

If, on his death bed, Zimmerman confesses, repents and accepts Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and gets into Heaven, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson will reach out from Hell to riot and to call Jesus and his Father racists.
