The thought of Gannett and Careerbuilder, which I know many people use, being together makes me puke.slappy4428 said:Let's do it to them before they do it to us.
The site is tremendous. It helps a lot of people. But with Gannett now in control.... let's just say I'm not feeling overjoyed.mustangj17 said:Careerbuilder gets a lot of hits.
Could go either way. Just placed it here. Sorry if you are offended.2muchcoffeeman said:Should this maybe be over on Journalism Topics Only?

All I know about them is that every time I have received a notice asking to respond as a reference for someone, the link did not work. And nobody ever actually picks up a phone and calls the person being used as a reference. And to apply for a position you have to go though all kinds of bogus hoops as they ask you "Are you interested in more education?" . . . "Are you interested in improving your credit score?"
You will go through hoops, but sometimes, you can get a call back or two.BTExpress said:Is CareerBuilder a legitimate organization?
