I submitted my resume for a reporter opening on Gannett's Careerbuilder Web site.

Here are three "relevant" jobs that the search engine recommended for me based me applying for a reporter gig.

PT Assistant District Manager Rochester, NY 05/15/2009
Truck Driver Rochester, NY 05/02/2009
Metromix Digital Sales Executive (must live in Columbus, OH)

Obviously, you have made a bad career choice with this reporter thing. ;D

Careerbuilder is trying to steer you in the right direction and gets nothing but scorn.

I thought this was going to be about Jim Hopkins at the shareholders meeting today, demanding that Dubow address him by name.

OK, so you base yourself in Columbus, get a truck route that goes back and forth to Rochester, and do your manager's job telecommuting during the truck-stop stopovers. Then you blog every chance you get and probably make 150K a year all told.

Hey, pal, careerbuilder nailed it. They are looking out for you.

Did you read some of the comments on Hopkins' blog? At lot of "say my name *****" references.
