Frank Layden - RIP

Utah Jazz are reporting that former coach and team executive Frank Layden passed away. Definitely one of the more colorful coaches in the league at a time when the NBA was loaded with them.

Calvin Murphy's college coach at Niagara, Layden's alma mater. Pretty much gave him free reign. Niagara had some other good players (Manny Leaks being the best), won an NCAA tournament game in 1970, and also did well in some NITs under his guidance.
