Whoa. He quarterbacked in the first NFL game I attended.

It was a titanic David Whitehurst vs. Jeff Komlo battle royale at County Stadium in '79, I'm sure you all remember it. ::)

Martin Mayhew scratches another name off his list of "seasoned, experienced veterans" he could bring in to "mentor" Daunte Culpepper.

Fret not. Bill Munson, Gary Danielson, Greg Landry, and, of course, Eric Hipple, are still on the list.

Rodney Peete wants to know why he was left out.

Komlo joins Karl Sweetan in the "Heaven must have needed a crooked ex-Lions mediocre quarterback" division.

Tragic story of a guy who got caught up in the lifestyle that comes from being of a mediocre back-up quarterback on three really crappy teams.

RIP.

He got caught up in that trap of hanging out at fourth-rate strip joints drinking Anheuser Busch Natural Light that claims so many.
