I would welcome someone selling second-tier gelato near my house.
Co-worker with anger issues who arrived more than a half hour ago is still ranting about the traffic issues on the way into work.
Gave me the Grrrrrr! face when I pointed out that, in his head, he's still stuck out in the traffic jam and should probably just let it go.
I probably shouldn't keep swatting that hornets' nest, but I'm entertained by the buzzing.
This sounds like a sure fired way to cause more red light accidents. I could see a statistical increase in Audi accidents caused by Audi drivers first in line anticipating the green, flooring it and getting T-boned.I thought of this thread as I read this article
Will that red light end soon? Audi's countdown clock can tell you
You’re stuck at a red light. It’s taking forever.
How much time until the light turns green? Ten seconds? Twenty seconds? A minute and a half?
Would you be more patient if you knew exactly how long it will take?
Audi is betting yes. The German luxury carmaker said Monday that several cars in its 2017 lineup will be available with a cloud-computer-connected countdown timer for red lights, displayed on the instrument panel and heads-up display.
The McDonald's closest to my house is closed for renovations. So, I had to go a quarter-mile down the street to the other McDonald's, and wait in a longer drive-thru line.
