Job Responsibilities • Responsibilities include reporting and writing financial news and features for both print and web • Beat covers banking, insurance and courts • Research stories • Develop sources • Edit stories for web • Responsible to assigning art, headlines, summaries of stories, etc. • Collaborate with Managing Editor and Editor (and other reporters/editors as necessary) to develop stories • Meet all publication deadlines
Job Requirements: • Minimum of 1 year of journalism experience • Finance writing experience a plus • Demonstrated comfort with numbers and financials • Proven ability to develop source networks
